redefined.and bursting with joy!

“I’m not changed a bit — not really. I’m only just pruned down and branched out. The real ME–back here–is just the same.”                                                                            ~Anne of Green Gables

I adore Anne. When I first tuned in to that gem of a movie, I was 11. I was riveted from the moment my friend turned it on. I wept when Matthew died, I laughed at Anne’s long apologies, and I marveled at how she viewed life. She was–and still is–my favorite. So, it totally went without saying that when I married I changed my middle name to Ann with an E. Why my parents didn’t add on the E when I was born, well, who knows! But I was bound and determined to change that little fact!:)

Fast forward to my initial launch of this little business of mine. Man, I spent months pondering out my name. Hashing…rehashing….praying….searching. I always came back to the knowledge that I wanted to have my name in my business title. I’m just not a flowery- business- name kind of girl. So, Elizabeth Anne Weddings was born. And I never looked back.

Until this winter. To make a long story super short, my name was conflicting with another wedding business out there. It was agonizing not knowing what to do. Looking at changing my name brought me to tears. You business owners know exactly what I’m talking about. It takes years to establish yourself, and to change your name — its not something you lightly do. Through the tears {I’m emotional and not ashamed:)}, and the long talks with Robby, Lizie Anne kept coming back to me. Like I couldn’t shake it. When my Pastor threw it out to me one night as well – without any word from me that I was even considering it — that was the confirmation I needed. And I ran.

It’s funny once you make those decisions-at least for me. Once I decided YES — it was as if everything just fit. The more I thought about it, the more I realized how much more Lizie Anne suits me. Most of my friends already call me Lizie, and it seriously warms my heart. One of my huge objectives in my business is to build strong relationships and friendships with my clients…so for them to call me Lizie as well…. it just brings me joy!

So, here we are. New name, New website, New brand…. And so much more ME! I’m also thrilled and excited to be making more of an impact on proposal planning! Both weddings and proposals are near to my heart.

So, loves. Welcome! I’m excited and honored to have you stop by into my little world.

xoxo
