They say that vacations are good for your soul. With my entire heart I believe this is true.

Every summer I escape from the bustle of the wedding season. It’s good for my heart, good for my business, and most importantly  - it’s good for my family.

We usually travel to Spokane as a family to visit my in laws, and have a wonderful time visiting the beauty of the mountains along the way; but this year Robby and I are flying out ourselves for a special reason. My brother in law is getting married!!

It will be nice {and interesting} to be on the other side of a wedding day…we’ll see how long that lasts. Goodness, we will see. If any sort of chaos erupts you know this girl will not sit still. And you know all the boutonnieres I see that become lop-sided will immediately get fixed. and you know that if I see my new sister in law limping with swollen feet, I will immediately find her flats to slide into. BUT. I will also dance, eat way too much for my figure, and sip some lovely wine.

Because — I AM GOING ON VACATION FOLKS!

Be back to the office next Tuesday the 14th!
